Parent Visa Subclass 103

The Parent Visa (Subclass 103) is a permanent visa that allows the parent of an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident, or eligible New Zealand citizen to move to Australia. This visa grants holders permanent residency and the ability to sponsor eligible family members to migrate to Australia.

The key difference between the Parent Visa (Subclass 103) and the Aged Parent Visa (Subclass 804) is that Subclass 103 has no age requirement, whereas Subclass 804 applicants must be at least 67 years old.

Eligibility Requirements for Parent Visa Subclass 103
To apply for the Parent Visa (Subclass 103), both the sponsor and the applicant must meet specific requirements.

Sponsor Requirements

  • Agree to provide support, housing, and financial assistance to the applicant for the first 2 years after they arrive in Australia
